How I would include skydiving in your Moab elopement
Split days can be perfect for elopement days such as ones with big activities like skydiving. Imagine waking up eating breakfast and having light hair and makeup done. I highly recommend Wild Bride Backcountry as your beauty team they will follow you throughout your elopement day for touchups and assisting and will do multiple looks if desired. For skydiving I recommend having your hair put in a cute bridal braid (loose hair will tangle in a dive) and do a new style later in the day. We would spend around 4 hours in the morning at the skydiving facility and then have a few hours afterwards to yourselves to regroup afterwards to get lunch, relax in your Airbnb, and have your hair and makeup refreshed after jumping.
Once regrouped later in the day we could go hiking to an arch, or Jeep to a secluded location to exchange vows an enjoy the rest of your epic Moab elopement day.

Where to Skydive?
Skydive Moab located 16 miles north of Moab is a great location and makes the whole process fairly easy, they offer the highest, most affordable jumps in the country! Voted one of the top 10 most scenic skydiving centers in the world!
What to wear to your skydive elopement?
A dress or tux sadly is not very practical jumping out of an aircraft I would instead go for a his and her sweat set to still have that bride and groom feel and be comfy as the air can be much colder in the morning and at the higher altitude.
BEFORE ARRIVING – a normal breakfast If you are going to take anti-nausea medication make sure you follow the instructions. Dress appropriately for the day, Athletic closed-toe shoes are required. Be aware that the temperature at altitude can be 20+degrees cooler than it is on the ground.
ARRIVNG- When you get to the Dropzone you will be required to fill out a waiver and watch a video. The hangar is a family-friendly place so feel free to bring spectators. After paying the remaining balance of your jump and selecting video options you will be paired with an instructor and manifested onto a flight.
TRAINING- An instructor or employee will properly fit your skydiving harness and tell you about what to expect during the skydive. Be sure to pay attention to instructions and ask any questions you may have. This is the person you will be strapped to. If your instructor did not harness you, once you meet them, they will check the harness for proper fit before you get on the airplane

WAITING- So now we wait. This is the largest variation in time, as weather or other unexpected circumstances may arise. They try and schedule jumps to get you skydiving as soon as possible while still being respectful of everyone’s time. Most jumps are completed in under 2 hours but plan to be at the dropzone up to 4 hours total.
THE JUMP- its self is fairly fast. 15-20 minute flight to altitude, a minute of freefall, and 5-7 minutes under the parachute. Call it 30 minutes total from loading the plane to landing back on the ground. Spectators will be brought over to the landing area where they can watch.
